2005 '67 Fender Telecaster Custom Shop Relic

Alder Body.
Maple Cap C shaped Neck.
Custom Shop wound pickups.
Medium relicing on body, heavy on fretboard.

Fender did it again with a time period correct '67.  Has the relic "broke in" feel. This guitar smokes. Awesome tele twang and spank.  Yet can get a heavier sound using a distortion or overdrive pedal. This is another guitar I've found if you're looking for Brad Paisley's tone, it's a great start. Needs no mods. Played through Badcat and varius Fender amps.

Store Price $2599
Paid $2200

just find a tele that works for you.. there's so many models out there...  find a fender dealer that handles custom shop tele's too and compare them all.

Mr Boxelder, what's goin on man...yeah bx is right about the guitar they are great...and he's a friggin' picky guitarist...he got rid of a crook custom guitar (most would give pieces of their anatomy for one...thank you brad paisley).  I sold mine too...I put lindy fralin blues specials (bridge) and a APC300T(neck) shielded the crap out of it...vintage tone plate with brass barrels, and vintage tuners on my $250 MIM tele and with the $250 upgrade (if it was that much) sounded just like my crook...not that the tuners had much to do with the sound but it was all the features you get the idea...I've been looking at these Linhof guitars and they are awesome...and for $2995 they ought to be, also Nash makes a great relic guitar made with licensed fender parts (not affiliated w/t Fender but for all the fender nuts it sometimes matters) you can get them with the lindy fralins, LF spit P-90's, strats, teles, they are awesome, they are around $1500...but to each their own...take it from me don't buy a guitar just because a great guitarist plays one...*cough*Bill crook*cough*Brad Paisley...or it could be a $2500 mistake (don't even get me started on Dr. Z either)
Thank God for mexican teles and pawn shop Peaveys
