Anyone with a temperature could see...the incumbent Democrats got hammered last night. They lost just about everything. NSNBC had their "happy faces" on and said it meant nothing. The only thing Ms. "I'm more Lesbian than you" wanted to talk about was Bloomberg's spending to win the job (like the Democrats did't spend a ton).
However CBS, ABC, CNN, and Fox all reported that these elections are sending a message to the blue dogs to STOP the madness.
Is the Game Over ?

On the article you posted....Kris, look at the White House spin.
They are trying to put on a happy face...but it's DOOM AND GLOOM.
WASHINGTON – An ebullient Republican Party Chairman Michael Steele asserted Wednesday that GOP victories in governors' races in New Jersey and Virginia demonstrate "a transcendent party" on the move again.
Spin : "The White House said the elections were not a repudiation of President Barack Obama."
"We're not crowing, we're just smiling," Steele said in a nationally broadcast interview. "I think it's a bellwether for the party ... You look at where we were nine months ago. Steele said he believes Chris Christie's victory in New Jersey and Robert McDonnell's win in Virginia show that the GOP has "really found its voice again" after sustaining damaging losses last year"
Spin : "For its part, the White House said the elections were about local races, local issues and local candidates — not about Obama.
Press secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters voters went to the polls in Virginia and New Jersey to work through "very local issues that didn't involve the president." The presidential spokesman said voters were concerned about the economy"
Doesn't this just prove my point....Ummmmm !!!

Aaron...I'm just stating that Kris was pointing out White House spin....He tried to make it sound like the elections carried no weight.

Bush's measures were passed by the majority, that was...let me see...the Democrats. Without their vote there would have been no Stimulus 1.
Now we're on Stimulus 5....with the Democrats. What the Obama administration has proposed and have passed has put us much farther in debt.
Did Obama's bunch stop the unemployment rate by all the stimulus's and "Cash for Crackheads" and "Cash for Clunkers" ?
Hell no, it's 15 % in your home state of Michigan. Cash for clunkers only worked during the months "you and I" threw tax dollars at it. When we quit, it busted.
It was nothing more than a frickin' give away to Obama's Auto Union buddies, and you know that.
You tell me.....what measures have worked for Obama ?

He has piled and piled and piled more debt upon you, me, and our children. He continues to be a promoter of Socialism and the so called "government made job", instead of free market jobs ( if I'm wrong, where are the jobs coming from), and he is an inconsistent and ineffective Commander in Chief, which cost our military lives.
He is a frickin' idiot ( I love stealing Aaron's description of Bush).
He still doesn't get the concept of small business. That will beat his ass in 2012 (if we're still around).

I can read all the legal definitions of socialism, communism, and capitalism. He is a socialist, Aaron. He is certainly not a pro business Capitalist, now is he.
