Went up today, 236 points. Previously on these boards when it has been going down it was because Obama is an idiot and hasn't done anything right since he got in office.
Who shall we blame now?
Methinks the blame mongers will be stumped by this one.

I think it always takes a 'catalyst' to motivate the Market up/down quickly. The Prez addresses a joint session of Congress tonight. That's usually one helluva motivator for the DOW. Let's see how it's doing tomorrow, after his speech. After all, Charlie needs the surplus to feed his G.A.S. addiction...

It's down 2000 points Obama's been in office....He's announced that he's gonna give away 3 TRILLION dollars and
tax business more. What do you think that will do to the market...in the long run.
By the way...why aren't you Socialists Doves complaining about Obama sending 20,000 more troops to
Afghanistan to DIE....Why send them.....the democrats said they were only "so called terrorists", not
confirmed terrorists.

for a second day on Wednesday, taking the death toll in the worst fighting for weeks to at least 69, witnesses and a rights group said."Fighting has killed 48 civilians and injured 90 in the last 30 hours," said Ali Yasin Gedi, vice-chairman of the local Elman Peace and Human Rights group.Witnesses said at least 15 Islamist fighters and six policemen were also killed in exchanges of gunfire and mortar bombs that have rocked the coastal capital for two days.
The violence flared just days after new President Sheikh Sharif Ahmed returned to Mogadishu to set up his new unity government, the 15th attempt to bring peace to the failed Horn of Africa state since 1991. Hardline Islamist group al Shabaab and some other militias are fighting Ahmed's government and the 3,500-strong AU peacekeeping force based in the capital. Pet...I lost faith a long time ago....But I'll stay around to argue with the Socialists...who think they have a mandate.
The only mandate they have now is to live and pay taxes...pay taxes...did I say PAY TAXES.
Do they really think that Obama is not gonna raise taxes on the middle class...You watch, first raise in tax will be the
federal tax on each gallon of gas. You can call it what you will...but it's raising taxes.

My company (the one I OWN) cleared $325k last year, I employ 10 people which have worked for me for 5 years straight. That's right... $325k AFTER I paid all my people and the bills. You know... something that your small mind probably cant grasp.
What did yours clear?
I donated $10k to St Jude last year to fight childhood cancer. Over the past 5 years, my total of donations to St Jude were over $60k
Did you have any left over? When is the last time you donated anything to a charity? Or did you say, "fock em!!! let em earn it theirselves" Oh... btw... God also wants your money (hows that for your religious thread?) How much did you give him last year?
You know... you of all people should have been pissed at the past administration. How much of the money that was geared towards infrastructure and construction was taken away to fight a ficticious war? But I guess Aaron was right. Your thought was, "he's from my side, so we shouldn't question and just go along with it"
Now you come around when an administration has been in office for less than 30 days and critisize every move that is made. So you tell me how on earth in your simple minded ways, you know what the hell you're talking about? Bush was a puppet for big oil and big corporation and threw a half assed tax cut in every now and then so simple minded people like yourself would say "hell yeah! he's one of us!!" And you bought into every little lie he handed you.
So you have no room to talk. The right had their chance the past eight years and focked up everything they touched. You're just too stupid to see it.

Kris....you don't have to get on here and impress me with what you make. I was making the point that most people in support of Obamma and his policies are too narrow minded to realize that he's taking your money too and giving it out....it's not his to give out. Glad to hear that your doing well.....and I might add that you're doing well because of your willingness to give. You understand as well as anybody of freely giving and not forceful giving of what is rightfully yours by the government. Today I heard that charitable contribution tax deductions were going to be cut. That's unfortunate.......what will be your reaction then (don't mean to be insulting here.....just wondering) since most charitable giving is done to for tax right offs. The government will need your money, they will give it out themselves. *Seriously....don't take offense to what I'm saying here.* Had you rather write the checks yourself or trust the government to support your convictions?

I do not watch WWE.....and you'd be suprised to know that I don't watch Hannity but about once a week. I'm usually figuring jobs, doing billing, watching my son play ball, or going to see my daughter cheerlead...did I mention that she is a college cheerleader? I do alot of fishing......me and my brother spend alot of time on the water....anywhere there is no phone signal.
Kris.....it's not necessary to broadcast your income to me to prove a point. I'm happy for your prosperity and wish you well. I also hope you remain productive and continue to spread your gains to those that you see fit to give to. It's obvious you may be a capitalist.

I admit that I don't know you well enough to know what you actually do for a living. I am an electrical contractor have been for the past 20 or so years. Yep.....just like you said above...."typical low class, gun toten', right winged, bubba salary," ....all that stuff. As you well know the construction business isn't what it was a couple of years back. Much of my competition have gone out of business, bankruptcy....etc,. Things have not been very good.......but we are managing to keep up and stay in the black. I'm very thankful for what we have got though. We've had to re-build our business......change over to things we haven't done before to make it....to keep the guys busy. No.....to answer your question......I haven't been as profitable as you as of late....and haven't been able to give as much as in times past. I do donate MY money as well as a good part of my time.....I try not to let my right hand see what my left hand is doing. We do what we can. I learned from experience in the past not to brag too much about things you really have no control over.
And...by the way. The excuse of the past eight years and not know how I feel is a little played. That is something you say when you can't find anything else. There are plenty of things I disagree with that go alot further back than eight years. As far as Bush is concerned......alot was dumped on his shoulders 9/11. War for eight years. You might be surprised to know that I think they may have jumped the gun a little in Iraq.....by that I mean he screwed up by stand on the deck of that ship and declaring victory and saying that the war was over. I think they should have put more into getting it overwith quicker. H.W. should have pressed on and finished off Sadam. The president caved in on the stimulus packages he borrowed from the Chinese. We will never live that one down. DID YOU EVER THINK YOU'D SEE THE DAY THAT AMERICA WOULD BORROW AND BECOME DEBTOR TO A COMMUNIST COUNTRY? But in just a few days Obama and the democratic leadership have taken the cake.....1.2 trillion in spending.....or is that stimulus? And the Clintons that you love so much is over there begging CHINA FOR MORE!!!!!
