We've implemented a "kudos" system as a way for members to earn recognition and awards. There are a few ways to earn kudos. - Any user can give any other user "kudos". This is just a simple way to tell someone "thanks" for submitting a song, or helping you out in some way. You're allowed to give as many kudos as you want, but you can only give the same user 1 kudos per month.
- Song Submissions = 10 Kudos
- Request List Submission = +5 Kudos Plus Kudos equal to the number of times the song was requested.
- Video Submissions = 1 Kudos
- Video Lesson Submissions = 5 Kudos
- Users earn kudos based on how many times your submitted songs/videos are viewed.
So what are the kudos good for? The top member each month will receive a $100 gift certificate to iTunes (or a comparable web store) AND any user that earns more than 50 kudos in any given month will be given a FREE premium membership for the next month.
*Each member is eligible for the Top Member award once every 3 months.*
