The Fed probably plays a few stock...but with their money...they manipulate futures...and that includes everythiing from gold ..corn...cotton ...and oil.

Look at what I just mentioned and see the "biggies" : 1). corn for biofuels-corn went up 350-400 % in the last 2 years ( 2.)..Oil went up 300% in the last two years.....do you think the Fed had anything to do with it...I'd love to see their balance sheets (it's off limits).

Now you might argue that corn is a Dem issue and oil a Rep. issuse...but what I'm saying is the bankers don't care. They need huge action to make a profit.

So yes...you can make money in the mrket...but the bankers dictate the direction the market is going to go....up or down they make money...they just determine the interest or value of money...what a scam.

I wonder who gets insider trading help from the "OFF LIMITS" Fed.

By the way Gore when he left office ..was worth 2 million....after duping and cheating the country on global warming...he's now worth over 100 million. It has been prodected that he will be the first Carbon Millionaire....all with smoke ,mirrors ,and lies...He should be prosecuted for fraud.

Nemo, is this good or bad?

What is your opinion on the market this week?

Too many bad things are out there yet unexposed or simply glazed over.

The markets will have some ups like they are doing now...but it's been bought and paid for by a world stimulus. Does anybody disagree that the markets are being stimulated by world funds...that have nothing to do with "real value".

Tax revenues are falling like a rock...how is "his majesty" going to collect taxes from rich people...when the rich are not hiring. You tax the rich to death...they will revolt (Tea Party) and they quit finding the incentives to expand.

In the long term...the market is heading downward.

When you borrow 50 cents of every dollar for the budget as Obamajumomma has presented... there is no place for it to go...but down.

Obama makes no sense....Pelosi makes less sense.

Not even the centrist democrats agree with what is going on. They are scared to death of these extreme socialist. It is my belief that Obama and the socialists will destroy their party for the next 20 years. Everything the Republicans said about them is being "highlighted" by their actions. Bush wasn't conservative...but the differences are plain.

Buyers remorse is already setting in for this White House...Instead of fixing something...they look like they want to break everything.

Man,... I'd love it to be all good, but I'll call it like I see it, and tell you why.

How many guys have you ask how's business, and they say it sucks...well...that's my point.

This world wide recession was not Bush's fault...it's way beyond any President. It is due to the greed of the banks
that caused this blow-up. It didn't hurt them.....they're the ones getting bailed out.

So if you own it all...control it all...how can you really get hurt. You can't...you might get a new set of rich folks, but it's the same game, played under their rules.

Tried it...then they told me to take a dose of reality...I've been better since then...thanks.

Timothy Geithner today said... unemployment is continuing to go up...and we'll be TRILLIONS of dollars out of balance, if the budget clears....the Chinese own everything.....BUT......he thinks the economy is stabilizing.

Alvrez.....I wonder who needs the Clozapine ?

Does anyone here have a problem with the Federal Government bailing out states.

In essence, States want US taxpayers to pay for State social programs. Those states being : California...New York...Michigan...New Jersey...Mass. and Vermont.

Well, I got a problem with that . My state should not have to pay millions to study otters in California.

Why should taxpayers of other states have to pay for that kind of mindless crap.

Let these Socialist states pay for those programs they are willing to support through State taxes. When they can't afford them...dump them.

I've got an idea California how to increase your state revenue !!!.....Open up offshore drilling.

Never mind about the DOW because it may look like it's going up, but only nominally.  Your dollar is about to crash, which means the Dow will go up even more.  But when you go out and try to buy something and you find that it has gone up even more than the Dow, you'll realize that you've all been had.

Here is what I've heard....through the grapvine.

This mini-run that we are seeing is getting ready to bust again.

There are a lot of brokers heading out of the market into cash. It is believed this bust will take the market to 7500-8000 or under.

It will be the once again involving housing, credit card debt (banks) and jobs.

The implementation or cancellation of governmental will dictate bounces to the market.

That's what I've heard...be careful not to get over extended in the market where you can't jerk it quickly.

Me......I'm way out of the market...I'm keeping my $ 500 nest egg safe.
