Is that in the category of "best money I ever spent?"

ORIGINAL: crcrcrcr At my age, the fun of Halloween is avoiding all those greedy little snot-nosed trick-or-treaters. Regarding new autos, I can highly recommend the Toyota Prius. I've owned an '07 model for several years and it's the best car I've ever owned. It didn't hurt that I got a federal tax credit that knocked $3100 off the purchase price. I imagine the Honda Civic Hybrid is pretty good too. Before I bought the Prius, I drove a Honda Civic Hatchback for 17 years and 350K miles. It was a great car too. So you're one of those, eh, Charlie? What ? honest ? informative ? thrifty ? One of the reasons I served my country was to be able to drive whatever I wanted without taking any guff from any jingoistic aholes. Heh-heh... You took the insult the wrong way, Chuck - nothing jingoistic in it, at all (I actually have more Toyotas than you can shake a stick at)... I was gettin' on ya about the "Prius" aspect of it.... Is it also baby-blue? And do you carry a chi-hua-hua (anyone get THAT reference??) around in a "European hand-bag?" ...You shoulda known me better than that, Charles... I apologize for not getting back in here sooner for the reference on this. I just cracked this thread back open today. I believe the reference you make is to Jeff Dunham's stand up routine prior to him bringing out his "guests." I believe it was off the "I can do crazy all by myself" routine. I could be wrong about the title. How ever he ends up driving it with his wife in his SUV laughing at him, and it is her car, with her dog in his lap.

Dunham is definitely funny and talented, but I think he may soon suffer from overexposure.

Those hyphens are spares left over from the PCorrect world when we had all of these hyphen-Americans running around. Now with the new world order we can call them what they are -- assholes. Hence, the surplus of hyphens. Me, I just say dash it all.
