Support some form of healthcare reform and not the Republican status quo....Push for a government option. We have all heard the same crap out of the Republicans for years and my insurance cost have gone up every year for the past 10 years. The only concessions I would request is : don't fund ( I didn't say outlaw) non life threating abortion...and don't fund health care for illegals.

My stance, not Aaron's... is the stance of the "Blue Dogs Democrats and all of the Republicans".

Why the democrats want to provide money for killing babies , I'll never know .

Nobody should be saddled with someone else's child...and nobody should commit murder in the 3rd trimester...and that's what it is.

Every time I hear anything about health care reform its some Republican (quoting) the bill and showing all the reasons why America should NOT go down this road! Of which I agree! OR some Devilcrate just calling the Republican an Idiot for pointing it out.I am sure I've never seen a Devilcrate quote anything from the bill and point out what they think is good for our country in it,or why they agree with it.Why is that,because you can't?? As I lean towards the conservative side I have to say that I am more pro-choice that not.  I know that sounds like the term "almost pregnant" but I will elaborate briefly.  My stance for it being illegal is after 8 weeks.  I don't expect anyone to get that but that is my line in the sands of time.  After that 8 weeks there are too many people who would adopt the child at the end of term and free the mother of the burden of raising the child.  Hell most would pay her medical expenses. There are too many other answers for me to support ProChoice after 8 weeks.  Seems odd I realize but I have my reasons.

However, what about the fathers rights?  He doesn't get to say if he wants the child or not.  Mom gets to make the choices.

I know it takes two to tango, but that fetus is a part of her body, not his.

but the "living" organism is....she's just taking "Care" of it...for the both of them.

Ok Aaron...you and your girl friend have a joint account...she puts in $1.00 and you put in $100,000.

You get home and find out she's pulled all of the money and left with Roy the Cable Guy.

did she steal it...or was it hers.....by virtue of the joint account ?

She would already know my stance..but going back to your bank analogy, I think you got it wrong.  Since the woman is gonna be doing all the work, let's give her the money.  Let's say. she has $100,000 in the bank and for whatever reason starts a joint account with you.  Now, the question is, just because it's now a joint account, do you really think YOU are worth $100,000?  I wouldn't but I bet you might.
