Yes, stay out of the swamps and keep your back to the wall, respectively

It's hard to outflank the newbies when you back them into a corner right out of the gate!

Thank you for your service, Stephen. Welcome to CT, hope you have fun here.

Just one caveat, watch out for the gators and bears.

Ahem!!  That's "bears and gators", Doug.

Stephen, stay safe and keep your head in the game while you're there.

And welcome to the boards, more than a few of us on CT are vets.

Well, lets see. my name is Jon. I'm 27 years young married and have a 7 month old son. I picked up the guitar back in 2001 to impress my current Girlfriend, who promply broke my heart. (Messsy) I got into playing songs that explained my feelings, and most of those were country-I found countrytabs back in 2002, and played tabs by mostly AXHAPPY, SHANTEL and of course Larry. This site was a great place to talk to friends, debate with Aaron (and later Rombel) and feel like life was going to get good again. I spent about 2 years being a pile of mush until after one post Larry promply kicked my rear, he helped wake me up to the realization that life is good now, and stop complaining about the past. (THANKS LARRY)

Currently I play my Takamine or Alvarez Artist maybe only once a week, due to my crazy work schedule and even crazier home schedule. I have moved cross country- from PA to CA, and I work full time as a Youth Pastor. Been at this job for 3 years now, and really can't imagine doing anything else.
