I bought this pedal sight/sound unseen/unheard. Glad i did.

I heard alot about it and listened to the sound files at http://www.durhamelectronics.com/index.html

This pedal rocks for both country and rock. Gives a nice boost that separates highs/mids/lows. Works well with EL84, 6L6 and 6v6 amps. Even though it's not true bypass (the newer ones are) it's still awesome. I used with both Les Pauls and Tele's through Batcat and several Fender amps.

Controls:

Gain
Compression (soft/off/hard)
Level
Tone

My settings:

Gain - 12 oclcok
Compression - soft
Level - 1 oclock
Tone - 11 oclock

The tones didn't change enough at other settings to rate any higher, but still a killer pedal.
