GFS Dream 90 Bridge Position Pickup http://store.guitarfetish.com/dr90husip90c.html Thanks to the outstanding quality and tone of the GFS Fatbody, I decided to try my luck with GFS one more time. This time, a P-90-ish pickup in the bridge position of a Squire '51. While the Dream 90 is based on a P-90 pickup, it is basically a beefed-up Stratish pickup. A bit more mid-range and some definite "growl". It also gives plenty of "snap" - while not Tele snap, still plenty of snap to make Tele players happy. This pickup offers great clarity throughout the lows/mids/highs. Very punchy through a clean channel, while not "popping". Pushing an amp, this pickup gives a nice snarl while not getting too muddy. While this pickup doesn't match a P-90 in all areas, I think it's a decent substitute, offering more mids than a true single coil, but more high end and snap than a humbucker. There was very little hum from this pickup. I installed it into the bridge of a Squire '51 and played it through an EL84 equipped amp. Once again, the shipping was fast and the service was great. The price can't be beat. out of 5. I would have preferred a true P-90, but the price and how close it comes is better than I expected.
